P&S batted first and got off to a flyer through Sam Collings-Wells (Retired 20) and Tom Lavery(17).With the dismissal of Lavery and the retirement of C-Wells the innings lost its momentum. Andy Marston (1), Charlie Selway (2), Harry Selway (1), Henry Farrant(1) and Jack Evans (1) all chipped in with timely wickets. P&S finished 79 all out after 19.3 overs.
Portsmouth got off to a nervy start and soon lost two wickets to good bowling from Joe Hawkins (2 wickets for 5 runs). Tom Kershaw (20 retired) and Jack Marston (14) got the innings back on track and Toby Bonnett and Teddy Ellis provided some lusty late blows. Portsmouth won at the end of the 19th over by 6 wickets with just one over to spare.
