Match report The Under 11B team were back to winning ways this week with a much more assured performance against Locks Heath. We batted well from beginning to end, only losing 2 wickets and hitting some great shots in the process. Special mention to Elliot Hartridge, William Lunn and Tom Drabble, who scored 27, 24 and 11 respectively, all hitting sixes in the process and helping us reach 360 in our 20 overs. We also batted and fielded much more tidily, giving away fewer extras and fielding well, leading to 4 run outs, 2 catches in 2 balls for Alex Higson, and a catch and a stumping for Gwenaelle Walters. We limited Locks Heath to 272, despite their last pair hitting some great shots. A well-deserved win, so hopefully we can do it again against Hambledon on Sunday!
