Match report This was the closest game all season and all the better for it (although it was felt the umpire gave some harsh decisions!) We bowled reasonably tidily and took regular wickets, with Noah Renton, Adam Edwards and Oliver Terry conceding the least runs and taking wickets. We then batted fairly well, but wickets tumbled regularly to keep it tight. Tom Lockyer started the innings with a flourish, hitting five 4s and Alex Higson and Isaac Allgood batted heroically at the end to steer us to victory with six 4s and a 6 between them. Thank you to Rohan for running the team in my absence. He said he was happier that they won than when he wins, so he now knows how we coaches feel!
