Match report Portsmouth won the toss and put Tichbourne in to bat. Daisy and Saj Opened up and while Saj made the early breakthrough, Daisy responded with 6-24 from 9, bowling all 6 of his victims who were unable to handle his combination of pace and control. Nav claimed a wicket with his 1st delivery in Southern league cricket (caught down the leg side by Dan), and Richie came on to finish the job picking up the final wicket in his first and only over for 92.

Portsmouth responded with a shakey start as the opening bowler bowled with good control, picking up Scotty with the score on 14. Nav then followed for 13 with the scored still under 30. Cornish joined Sammy and together they steadied the ship to guide Pompey home with out losing a further wicket.
