Match report Well done to everybody who played last night. It was an excellent win for our first match of the season. Lets try and keep it up.

The batting started very well with our openers pushing the runs very quickly and we seemed to keep that momentum going through the innings scoring 180 runs in 20 overs. That score give us maximum batting points of 4. (140 is the maximum total for batting points any score above that is not counted in batting points).

When we came out to field, we were very chirpy (good to see and hear), we just need to keep that intensity going to the end. The bowling at the start of the innings was a very good line and length. We seemed to drift away towards the end of the match and the bowling was a little wayward. We took 6 wickets which gave us 3 bowling points (1 point for every 2 wickets). We won the game overall, which then gave us 10 points for the win. A total of 17 points. Maximum points is 18 so we left a point on the field. We just need to get those last 2 wickets. Something to work on in training.
