Match report A great all-round performance from the team ended with a comfortable result as they batted, bowled and fielded well and encouraged each other throughout. The highlights of a fine batting performance were Joseph Stretton and Tom Furtado-Mills who both retired at 45 and 44 respectively, both finishing with a 6!Ed Lovatt kept the scoring going with a quick 17 to end the innings. The highlight of the bowling was Amir Choudhury who opened and closed the bowling, taking 1-11 in a 3-over spell that included a wicket maiden and special mention must be made of Alex Harding who took his first wicket for the club, clean bowling one of their batsmen! Finally, a fine fielding display was topped off by a super catch over his shoulder by Sam Vince. The rest of the team supported these efforts brilliantly too. Well done lads!
