Match report Not our greatest performance this evening against a decent Petersfield side. We did not bat, bowl or field as well as we can. We gifted Petersfield a lot of runs from extras and allowing balls that could have been stopped going to the boundary, after a good start when Amir Choudhury took the wicket of Oscar Amis, Petersfield's best player, in the first over. Special mention goes to Joseph Stretton, who was by far our best bowler, bowling two maidens in a spell of 1 for 4 in 4 overs. When we batted, Henry Simmons scored 14 while holding up one end as wickets tumbled at the other, and Tim Pilkie-Rogers and Rohan Walters scored 11 and 9 not out respectively, to ensure that we at least saw out our overs, if not getting close to our target! Onward and upward, and, if anyone can play for the team on Sunday, please let myself or Alan know!!!
