Match report So, the season ended on a high for both the Under 15A and B teams (as Portchester have pulled out of Sunday's match, this was the last Under 15 game of the season.) The As have got better as the season has gone on and gelled more as a team. Gosport have had a very good season and started brightly, until Joe struck with a double wicket maiden , Matt and Jack taking the catches. However, from that moment, Gosport went from strength to strength, until two of their batsmen retired in quick succession. From then, they struggled and Seth, Iori and Adam bowled tidily and Tim bowled one of their batsmen and Joseph ran another out, leaving them on the still quite healthy score of 146 for 4. We started well, but lost Jack and Matt in fairly quick succession, but Joe settled the innings with some calm strokes and Joseph speeded it up with some lusty hitting, retiring on 42. Joe stayed in while we lost a couple more wickets to hit the winning runs from the first ball of the 19th over, so a close, but comfortable, win in the end. thank you to Alan, Pete and Andy for sorting out the teams, umpiring and scoring for the Under 15s this season and this is Paddy signing off for the last time, having completed all the stats!!!
