😎Our Roadmap for Enjoying Cricket Again😎

Dear Members and Friends

There has never been a better time to be a member of Portsmouth Cricket Club - We all have much to look forward to this season with new teams, new coaches, new sponsors, new kit, cricket academies and of course a pavilion refurbishment.

Our Roadmap for restarting outdoor cricket training and games is set out below.

  • Monday 29th March – U11 and Ladies Softball W10 Training 6-7.30pm
  • Tuesday 30th March – U13 Training 6-7.30pm
  • Wednesday 31st March – U15 Training 6-7.30pm
  • Thursday 1st April – U17 / U19 / Adult Training 6-7.30pm
  • Friday 2nd April – #TCIF & Under 9 Training / Coaches First Aid Course 6-7.30pm
  • Tuesday 5th April – Easter Cricket Academy starts - 2 weeks
  • Saturday 10th April will be our first outdoor fixture v University of Portsmouth
  • Monday 12th April - The Bar will reopen with service outdoors, as before
  • Friday 16th April - BBQ Events Night, 100 Club Draws for February and March
  • Sunday 25th April – First Sunday XI Friendly
  • Throughout April – A good number of Friendly β€œwarm up” Fixtures for our senior teams
  • Saturday 1st May – 1st XI Fixture away to Ripley
  • Friday 7th May - The popular All Stars and Dynamo programs commence
  • Saturday 8th May – 2nd XI League Fixture v Hursley Park @ St Helens
  • Saturday 8th May – 3rd XI League Fixture v US Portsmouth @ St Johns College Fields, Farlington
  • Saturday 8th May – 4th XI League Fixture away to Kerala
  • Mid May - Colts games commence
  • Sunday 11th July – Ladies W10 Softball Festival @ St Helens

    Reminder

  • Monday 29th March - Track and Trace in Force – You will be expected to scan your smart phone as you enter the ground, just as you do in pubs and restaurants – Look out for the QR Code at the entrance. There will be a book available for manual registrations
  • Monday 12th April – Bar reopening – The Rule of 6 or Two Households rule applies

We are planning the following Colts Teams for 2021

  • 3 x Under 9 Teams
  • 2 Under 11 Teams
  • 3 Under 13 Teams – U13B East and U13 West (SE Hampshire) and U13A
  • 2 Under 15 Teams
  • 1 Under 17 Team
  • 1 Under 19 Team

Colts Fixtures and our Home Game Day will be posted on the PCC website mid April.

Finally – If you have yet to renew your membership and pay, now is the time – The club is investing large sums on ground preparation and routine machinery maintenance and your financial support is required to deliver the best possible standard.
