Match report A Very close match that went to the very last ball. All of the team contributed, Freddie as always was lively in the field ensuring that the runs of the opposition were minimised. Georgia took a superb catch as Wicket Keeper to Harlan's bowling. Other wickets went to Joe Thompson (caught Joe Hunter) and Joe Kooner-Evans. All bowlers especially James, Joe H, Connor Bates and Joe T bowled very straight giving away very few runs. Against some indifferent bowling our batters found getting bat to ball difficult, but we went along with determined effort from all of the players with good contributions from Joe H and Joe K-E. The final overs fell to our big hitters Connor and George who took the role of final pair with enthusiasm. They were unfortunate to not quite cross the winning line. Overall the team played very well in exactly the right spirt backing up each other and giving good support. Finally I would like to thank George who in the role of captain stepped up and led the team very well.
