Match report So on Wednesday night, the U9Cs under the captaincy of Thomas elected to field first. Grayshott posted a big total with some excellent batting, although they were helped by some fielding errors, which we will work on before the next game. There was some excellent individual bowling performances, with Samuel and Edward both giving 3 runs aways, while Thomas end one better finishing with figures of 2 run for 1 wicket off 2 overs. Well done skipper!

After a quick turnaround the U9Cs batted. Really pleasing was that everyone of the boys contributed to our total, with three of them (Reuben, Thomas and Samuel) scoring seven, while top scorer was Edward with a very impressive 29.

All in all it was a tough match for the U9Cs against a well organised and experienced opposition, who batted well and bowled with considerable accuracy.

Man of the match went to Samuel for a combination of his bowling and batting.

Well done boys, some excellent cricket!
