Match report A Grass Wicket on the Square for the first time this season, Electronic Scoreboard in action and Flashing Zinger Bails on top of the stumps - We fell just 8 runs short this time.
As U11A's, this was the first time we batted our innings - 18 overs, with the game hanging in the balance right up to the last few balls.
The 2 Sarisbury top order batsmen both retired on their maximum putting them in a strong position.
James with 2 wickets, Monty assisting with a catch and William H with the 3rd.
Our batting was the strongest we have seen this year with 4 Portsmouth players getting into double figures but no one retiring - it makes a difference.
A good number of 4's from the team today.
