Match report Our final league game of the season, and again a real festival atmosphere for the Jets vs Sharks game - the Sharks looking for revenge after a narrow defeat earlier in the season. A great start from the Sharks with Dexter smashing a 6 with the wind almost to the 10th hole; and boundaries for Matthew, Jake and Libby before some excitement in the final pair, with Sam and JV pushing runs while losing a few wickets, smart keeping from James leading to a stumping in the final over.

The Sharks' bowling throughout accounted for the crosswind a bit better, and kept the Jets' batting quiet in the main, though Jasper hit a couple of boundaries to keep the score ticking. Jude top scored in the final pair, with good running putting pressure on the field; James trying to ramp Sammy a highlight!

After the match, tea and medals, and a post-season debrief from the coaches. We've been really impressed with the way the kids have learned and grown this season - and we'll be sad to lose much of this cohort next year - but the U9's loss is the U11's gain!
