Match report Hurrah! Back to winning ways after back-to-back defeats! We batted steadily with James, Charlie and Ben top-scoring, but everyone chipped in a little and scored a respectable and defendable 283. However, as when we played Purbrook at their place, our bowling was just too strong for them and, sad as it may seem, I was pleased that we managed to keep them down to 199, which is -1!!! We also fielded well, with very few byes and overthrows and took all the catches that came our way. James, Charlie and Gwen, on her return to the team after breaking her finger, all took two wickets in one over. I am, therefore, both a proud coach and a proud Dad!!!
