The meaning of the term "many hands makes light work" is easy to understand. It means that with collaboration, a workload will be much lighter overall. It is another way of saying that when people work together to reach a goal, getting there will be much easier than going it alone.
It is a proverb that has been used since ancient times to help encourage collaboration and cooperation. It is also another way of saying that the overall workload will be much less when many people share the same tasks. Doing something quickly and more efficiently was preferred, especially during times when manual labour was at an all-time high.
So, join us at St Helens this weekend for the first of our #GetSetWeekends and help prepare the club for the new cricket season.
If you are new to the club this is a great way of meeting existing members, your committee, team captains, managers and players.
