Match report A very hot Sunday morning game, thankfully plenty of sun cream and hats on hand! Another good performance resulting in a great win. We won the toss and elected to field. Petersfield batted the full 20 overs but we did take 6 wickets, one for Reuben, two for Lewis and three for Jake. (I feel after my own personal bowling spell on Saturday of one over consisting of 19 deliveries and costing 22 runs including 13 wides, I could learn a lot from our lads!) Petersfield posted 109 to win after a mini drinks break at 10 overs.

110 to win and we started like a rocket, in two overs Isaac and Lewis put on 27! Isaac was eventually bowled after another fantastic knock of 24 followed closely by Lewis who retired not out on 32. Jake and Archie had fine innings with Jake not out 15 and Archie 13. Nikhil came in at the end after Archie fell LBW and scored 6 including the winning runs.

Then it was time to get out of the sun and enjoy a well deserved match tea - thank you to Tarnia and Scott for providing the lovely spread and making sure the lads were refreshed with the drinks too!

We are currently top of the league with one final fixture to go albeit not all results are in. But it has been a good season so far, so still all to play for!
