Match report Another midweek away match, with great support from parents and another fantastic effort from the team resulting in a comfortable win by 73 runs. Despite the amount of the cricket played in the last two weeks, a sterling effort from all.

We were asked to bat and posted a terrific score of 168 for the loss of 5 wickets - Charlie retiring not out with 30 and Lewis falling on 29, Isaac continued his good form but was out for the first time this season for 20. We started well in the field with Archie taking a wicket with the second ball without a run on the board. Within 2 overs they were 4 for 2 thanks to a wicket from Charlie before he switched to Keeper for the rest of the game. Wickets fell steadily despite a good partnership between Archie M and Vinnie for Petersfield. However, 2 wickets each for Lewis, Jake and Nikhil took the game away from Petersfield.

Finally a special mention for Kiera, she stood in at the last minute due to player sickness and despite not getting to bat, fielded well and was rewarded with the final wicket - a stumping by Charlie.

We may be tired but we move on to our cup play off match tomorrow and will give it our all!
