Match report A fantastic victory for the 13b’s today. When everything goes right there is nothing more pleasing for everyone involved.
Although we lost the toss, Locks Heath elected to field which is what we wanted as our captain for the day, George wanted to bat. We made good progress and although we lost wickets we made a very good 161 for 7 in our 20 overs. Pick of the batsmen, Jack who retired not out on 35 and George with an unbeaten 30. They were backed up with Arthur smashing a quick fire 16 and Jake also with an excellent 16.

The plan going into to field was to again open with one over of spin. The responsibility fell to George who didn’t disappoint with a caught and bowled on his first delivery and then two more wickets fell in the over - one bowled and an excellent stumping by Archie. So with a three wicket maiden and therefore Locks Heath 0 for 3 after one over, they never really recovered. We continued to apply pressure with further wickets, one each for Arjun, Isaac and Archie V and an excellent brace from Conrad who was on for a hattrick, and a brilliant run out from Arjun, we comfortably won by 94 runs inside 15 overs.
