Match report U9E's second match and it took on a bit of an intra-club flavour when Portsmouth and Southsea arrived with only 3 players, so we lent them 5 (Grayson, Javier, Hattie, Leo and Matthew)...still, plenty of cricket for the Portsmouth kids and whatever we have to do to get the game on!

An excellent performance for Portsmouth with the bat for Jacob, hitting 24* in an opening pair with James of 46-0, and good support across the team with boundaries for Polly, Annabelle and Owen. We did keep losing wickets however, with Matthew (playing for P&S) getting his brother out twice...

In reply, P&S were powered by Portsmouth's Leo, who hit the Portsmouth bowling to all parts with 31* including a 6! Javier and Grayson also shared a good partnership of 32-1.

U9E lost this one but great match experience for the kids, hopefully everyone enjoyed it.
