Welcome to Junior Cricket at Portsmouth Cricket Club

At Portsmouth Cricket Club, we’re proud to offer a vibrant and inclusive junior cricket programme for young players aged Under 9 through to Under 17. Whether your child is just picking up a bat for the first time or already passionate about the game, we welcome boys and girls of all abilities to join us and develop their skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Our junior section is led by a team of fully qualified ECB Level 2 coaches, who are dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and inspiring space for young cricketers to grow both on and off the field.

We also believe in creating opportunities for the whole family to get involved. Whether it’s through scoring, umpiring, or volunteering, there are plenty of ways for parents and guardians to be part of the journey – and we offer support and guidance to help you learn and progress too.

Cricket can be an expensive sport, especially with all the gear required, so we run a Buy & Sell Facebook Page to help families access affordable second-hand kit and make the game more accessible for everyone.
