🏏Your View X - Crowdfunder Update🏏

14 Jun 2025

Dear Members & Friends

Huge Milestones

It's been a very good week for the club with a couple of huge milestones to celebrate, as well as many teams across the club victorious in their own endeavours.

1st XI opener, Ben Duggan's 12th 100 and 5,000 runs in the Southern Premier Cricket League and the amazing news of the substantial Veolia grant to support the training net project and more donations flowing into the Crowdfunder on a daily basis*

The "Your View" contribution this week is from Matt Scott.

It's always good to welcome back old faces to the club, especially when they contributed to the club's success during their "Heyday" many years ago.

Celebrating history is valuable to us all and it's great to hear stories from Matt, players, umpires, scorers, groundsfolk and others, whether it be at the bar or walking the boundary with friends.

Matt assisted the club as a volunteer with constructing the existing training net facility 25 years ago and also represented PCC in the 1st XI at that time. He rejoined PCC this winter after "retiring" a number of times and is contributing runs in the 4th XI this season. Matt is a valued sponsor of the club with his company Scotts Contract Services Ltd

Take a moment to listen to what Matt has to say about his time at the club over the years, community values and his view on supporting the fundraising efforts by searching Facebook and Instagram using the link below.

We started the Crowdfunder like a batting side in 5 Day Test Match, let's finish the job like a T20 Blast team. It's time to Push On now and complete the innings with a huge finish !

Thank you everyone for your valued support.

* We have adjusted the Crowdfunder target to account for the grant.
