Our Government recently launched a consultation on changes to the planning system, including a proposal to remove Sport England as a statutory consultee for planning applications involving playing fields.
The consultation is complete.
The Sport & Recreation Alliance take the view that by removing Sport England from the consultancy process, it will have a detrimental knock-on impact on the provision of wider community sports facilities and launched the Protect Where We Play campaign.
