Match report A tough one against a Sarisbury team with a few star players, and despite some good fielding Sarisbury batting first scored 127 in their innings. A good total, but definitely gettable if a couple of batters could form a partnership. Unfortunately in reply, we lost regular wickets and though we were on 77 after 9 overs - well ahead of the rate - we were crucially 6 wickets down. Dexter batted very well to retire, and Penelope was the second-highest scorer with 7. Lots to learn for the kids here - positive batting is great, but there's no need to try to smash everything, even when chasing a steep target.
