On a Friday night, Darcey won the toss and decided to bat, so Portsmouth U15's could get the best batting light.
Darcey and Isla opened and we lost Isla early on. Then Darcey and Freya took control, both having to retire at 33 and 32 respectively. Ruby Mae made a helping 10 and Emma and Olivia were not out after 200 overs 123-2.

We got stuck into Calmore with Millie Watkinson taking 2 early wickets with steady and straight bowling, it looked like we were going to roll Calmore over, but their batters started a fight back. Darcey was WK for the first time. The breakthrough came when Emma bowled their dangerous Mary for 26, Calmore lost further wickets to Olivia and Millie who took a career best 3-18.

The light began to fade and Darcey and her team saw the 20 overs through restricting Calmore to 113-5.
