Match report Match Report PCC Ladies Love to Bat 🏏 - Southern Stars Away League match.
Sunday 28th May
Overcast and showery conditions didn’t dampen our Ladies resolve.
Darcey won the toss and decided to Bat.
We got off to a steady loss of Wickets on a good track. Patience was needed for straight balls as we played silly shots when a simple block would have worked.
Luckily Ladies hung around long enough for Darcey to face 95 deliveries and score 96 not out. A superb knock of patience and power and she missed 30 runs off her legs!! Forgive my proud moment ❤️

We score 137 for 6 off 25 overs.

Into the field we went.
Probably the best I’ve seen us field. Some fabulous stops, catches and wickets. Yes too many wides but well done all bowling them out 51-8 off 18 and an early finish.
