Match report A fantastic performance from U13. After Freddie M losing the toss, we were put into bat – A very well controlled innings saw us reach 150 for 3 within our 20 overs. Bothe Freddie M and Amelia retired not out, and they were supported throughout our innings by all of the batsman.

The bowling of the team was an absolute joy to watch – The middle 5 overs of their innings saw us take complete control of the game, quite how more wickets did not tumble is a bit of a mystery and on another day, we would have skittled P&S out well within the 20 overs. There were very disciplined spells from all of our bowlers, with 4 maiden overs. Amelia led the charge taking 3 wickets for 2 runs off of 2 balls. The fielding was very tight, and the backing up and support on field was evident throughout.

For our next game, if we are un the position to be able, I would like our batsman to focus on trying to accumulate more runs when we get to the last 3 overs.
